PET tape is the premier tape adhesive to use on heated build platforms. PET tape, which is made out of Polyester film, is used on 3D beds because of its ability to withstand high temperatures that are sometimes required depending on the plastic used.
PET green tape is coated with PET film as high temperature silicone. Our high temperature tape can withstand up to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (for twenty minutes) with good viscosity and excellent electrical properties. Unlike rubber and acrylic adhesives that can’t stand the heat, our tape resists curling, shrinking, and lifted edges for a sharp paint line every time.
